I have an antique bronze frame with a makers mark on the front of it. It looks like it includes a j, g, and l. Would you know who this is and how I can find out the value of it? The frame measures 12" tall and 9" wide. It is an art deco design.

Hi 😊

From my ends it looks to be a stylized JG initial, could be the artist. The carved figural frame sometimes made of oak became popular in London from the 16th to 17th century. This is referred to as Art Noveau where sometimes there may be cupids or nude figures along the edge of the frame. The style looks French.

$150 to $250 depending on its condition and market demand if you plan on selling it.

Best regards!
