I was wondering the value of a 100.00 dollar bill series C 1950 silver certificate # K04125462A in good shape but has been circulated.
Aloha TM - Most 1935 and up series Silver Certificates are worth a very small premium over face value. Circulated examples typically sell for $125 to $150 each, while Uncirculated $100 Silver Certificates are worth between $200 and $400 each. Exceptions to these values include Star notes (where the serial number is followed by a small star in place of the suffix letter), and other various varieties and blocks including 1935A Hawaii and North Africa notes, Experimental notes, and various rare blocks and serial number ranges.
If you have any of these notes and you think it is worth 20-30% over face value, for a small investment, you can have the note graded by NGC or PCGS and know exactly what it is worth by knowing what grade it is. PCGS usually realizes a higher price than other grading companies and is usually favored by most collectors.
