I have a vintage slag glass desk lamp with the mark cCco on the plate that holds the shade on. I think the one c stands for a casting company. Would anyone know the company that might of cast this lamp base? I would say the lamp is from the 30's or 40's.

Hi Guest,

I too have a slag glass lamp with the exact same mark on the underside of the cap. The base looks identical also.
On the globe, I have divided segments with colored glass behind, but there is a metal image of a small house on the left and a part of an old fence on the right on each segment of the globe. Have you identified the manufacturer yet?

Thanks very much!

Hi,
Did you ever find the answer to your question? I recently purchased a lamp very similar to the one pictured at an estate sale and am curious about the manufacturer.

Thank you,
Karen

I have not been given a definitive answer to my question.
I was once told that it was the Triple C Company. If that were the case, wouldn't the insignia be "CCC Co"?

I'm sure your lamp is very handsome. Ours came from my
grandparents, but when or where it was purchased is a mystery.

Maybe someone else will see the posting and divulge some
positive information.

Best wishes,

Mike Walter
