Is it the double winged upside down (airplane) Jenny stamp? I believe they came out in the eighties as replicas with a monthly purchasing program, which included various other replicas of the older stamps issues also...The original upside down Jenny stamp is worth hundreds of thousands (maybe a million or so by now)...even the ones that came out right side up are worth several hundred thousand dollars...The gold content in those 80's issues were like tin foil and not having any real weight to be worth anything other than what someone would offer or trade. <email>

Nothing. All gold replicas are worthless as they aren't 'stamps', hence not interesting for philatelists.

All these 'programs' and 'associations' trying to sell replicas as investment are bogus.

Hi Sheila

I have run across this info that might be useful
http://www.artifactcollectors.com/is-the-first-day- issue-of-the-inverted-jenny-22kt-gold-stamp-worth-more- bec...-6211612.html

Unless it is the error 1918 Inverted Jenny stamps you can just sell your stamp from $5 to $10.
