With the limited amount of information you posted, and without a picture other than to say it’s a partially circulated note at no more than 1.5*face value. It's difficult to believe that you got it in circulation and yet doesn't have wrinkles, folds or other indications showing some circulation. If it has not been circulated, then I'm surprised that someone hasn't sent it in to be graded yet. Did you buy the note? or did you get it in your change?

Is there any reason you cannot post a picture of it and/or give a more detailed description of it? It's very simple by using the "attach photos" button on the bottom of this page. I'm sure we would all benefit from seeing it.

Also, if you choose to log back in with additional information, would you please log in with a name? It's always challenging to do research for an unknown audience.

Hi my name is rick, and I had 5, yes five uncirculated 2 dollar bills printed in red ink, the were rare i knew that. a friend who used to work at a bank gave them to me. But they got stolen in a robbery at my home. I cant remember thier exact year, but it was between 1950 and 1955 i know that for sure. how much do yoou think they were worth?

Better sell it then because red seal $2 bills in circulation between 1928 to 1966 are valued from $2 to $5.

Why so rude? I was offended and I was not even the one asking the question. I too have a bill like this, not in mint condition though. I was just curious to see if it is worth anything. I too would not have thought to attach an image of it.

The $2.00 bill I Had,was given to me by my grandfather. This was abt 40 yrs ago.It had red print on both sides.I do not know what year it was.I had it in a book.I dont know if it was circulated or not.All I can tell you is,it had no wrinkles, tears or dents it was immaculate or "mint" condition. I accidentally threw that book in the trash!!! That $2.00 bill was the only gift my grandfather ever gave to me.At that time trash was picked up by 2 men.I didn't realize til after the garbage men came & left that I had done such a careless thing. I still beat myself up to this day.I guess it wasn't meant to be? Hopefully you will tell me,it wasn't worth a million dollars? The sentimental value to me was <email> & learn. It was a horoscope boogek.Maybe with any luck my garbage men rescued it. Although it probably wasn't mint after that?

Hi Jennifer

We really cannot tell the value unless we see an actual photo of it.

I am lost for words because I don't know how to make you feel better. Anyhow, I bet your grandfather will not like you to "beat yourself" just for that honest mistake.

Cheer up
