That is a commonly copied note, so the odds are very good that it isn't worth anything and that it is counterfeit. One of the better known copies has the serial number 663. Could you post a picture of your note for us to see?

How much is one worth if its in good shape with a good grade and found to have a good serial number. Ball park?

Does it look anything like this but in a better condition? This is a genuine $5 Texas note from 1839 confederate and was valued by some at around $110. Since confederate currency holds no cash value, they do hold a numismatic value to collectors.
